2 Factor Authentication (2FA) is key to securing access to your sensitive data, by default your account will use email OTP codes. We recommend you setup 2FA using an authenticator app on another device where possible to enhance security, read on to find out how to change the settings.
- Navigate to the Settings page
- Click the 2-Factor Authentication Tab
Email based 2FA
- Select 'Email' from the authentication dropdown
- Verify you have access to the email address listed below
- Click Update 2FA Settings button to enable
Authenticator 2FA
- Select 'Authenticator App' from the authentication dropdown
- Click Update 2FA Settings button
- You'll be prompted with a QR code that you need to scan into your authenticator app ( Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy etc.)
- Enter the code generated by your authenticator app into the text box, if accepted the dialog will close and 2FA will eb enabled.
- WARNING - until you enter a valid authenticator code, 2FA will not be enabled
